Marianne Vos (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) a remporté ce soir la 1ère étape du Tour de France (2.WWT) disputée entre Vannes et Plumelec sur 79 km. En haut de la côte de Cadoudal, la Néerlandaise a ainsi devancé la Mauricienne Kimberley Le Court (AG Insurance-Soudal), sa coéquipière française Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, auteure d'un impressionnant kilomètre final, Kasia Niewiadoma, Demi Vollering et Puck Pieterse. A noter l'abandon de Marlen Reusser et la perte de temps d'Elisa Longo Borghini et Lotte Kopecky. Demain, 2ème étape entre Brest et Quimper (110 km).
