Alexandra Manly (Team Jayco AlUla) a remporté ce matin la 2ème étape du Santos Tour Down Under (2.WWT) disputée entre Birdwood et Uraidla. L'Australienne a devancé la Néo-Zélandaise, et ex-coéquipière, Georgia Williams (EF Education-TIBCO-SVB) et la Néerlandaise Nina Buijsman (Human Powered Health).

Un tronçon conclu par une explication à seize, le Mount Lofy, un petit col roulant situé à 11 km de l'arrivée, anticipé par Claire Steels, ayant joué son effet. Ce lundi, Manly endosse donc le maillot orange de leader. Demain, 3ème et dernière étape entre Adelaide et Campbelltown (93 km).
